Con Rules
- When you are in the convention areas, you must wear your badge. Lost badges will only be replaced once for a fee of $5. Badges must be worn and visible at all
times.
-
ConCarolinas ConCom/Staff reserves the right to remove anyone that is violating the rules or otherwise preventing others from their enjoyment of the Con from the convention premises, without a refund.
-
No running or other roughhousing on the Con premises except in designated areas.
-
Please do not damage the hotel. Damaging the hotel will qualify any member for rule number 2, and any damage costs will be charged to said
member.
-
Bladed weapons must be sheathed and peace-bonded at all times. Prop-weapons must be approved by Con Security and designated by a colored ribbon or other means showing it’s a prop.
All prop-weapons must remain holstered or otherwise safely
kept. All other “real” weapons are prohibited. If it can fire a projectile, it is considered
real.
-
ConCarolinas cannot permit unauthorized vendors to sell anything at the convention.
-
The hotel has requested that no "outside" alcohol be brought into the con areas. We encourage you to patronize the hotel bar or drink in your private hotel rooms.
-
No smoking in the con site. Smoking areas are available in the hotel in designated areas.
-
ConCarolinas is not responsible for items lost, missing, or stolen during the convention.
-
While the convention organizers encourage members to bring their children to ConCarolinas, we ask that parents take an active role in monitoring the events in which their children participate. Some events (and most parties) may not be suitable for all ages. Also ConCarolinas does not provide Child Care services and an adult must accompany all children at all times.
-
ConCarolinas requests that while in the convention areas, costumes should be suitable and appropriate for the general public. Costumes of adult nature or otherwise inappropriate are not welcome in the convention common areas.
