Events
ConCarolinas is an immersive experience with so much to do, it's hard to fit it all in one weekend. We try to cover as many aspects of fandom, from gaming to costuming, music to literary, and more. We have our regular events that you see every year like the Auction and Costume Contest, while at the same time, we have tried every year to add something new. For example, one year, we decided to try out a Zombie walk. It is not going on our 4th year with that event. Nerf Wars is something we have tried for the past two years with great success.
Our Con Schedule is a place that you can see the schedule of events as it develops. Nothing is every set in stone until the con is over, but this will give you an idea of what type of events we are planning. It might take a while for our programming director to get the information posted, however, as we depend on over 100 guests to get back to us with their preferences, a lot depends on how soon we hear back from them.
Features show a list of features and events that we host at ConCarolinas. These include regular scheduled events, features like the dealers room and gaming, as well as special events we like to bring to your attention.
Gaming is one of our foundation events. While not our focus, it is one area that ConCarolinas prides ourselves in and continues to work hard on making it better. In conjuntion with the same people that run MACE in High Point (The Carolinas' Largest and Best Gaming Con), ConCarolinas gaming as a wide variety of gaming events to choose from.
The Short Film Fest, Costume Contest, and Movie Screenings are three events with special focus as they require a certain level of maangement and regulation. Here you can fund out event rules, how to contact us about these specific events and what's going on with them.
