Group Rate Policy
We welcome any fan group, college club, fan club, online club, or non-profit group to our convention and we offer a group rate to all of the above.
How does my Group get a group rate?
If your group qualifies for a group rate, a leader within the group MUST ask us for one to make it happen. Please contact our Registration Director to request a group rate. The group members will then be able to get the group rate password from the group leader, who is responsible for making sure that only valid members of the group have access to it.
How does my group qualify for a group rate?
As a general rule, a group qualifies for a group rate if they have 10 or more people that will register under the group rate. If the group falls under the 10 minimum one year, the Convention reserves the right to revoke/deny the group rate the next year.
How much is the group rate?
A group rate is a flat pre-registration rate of $25 all year. It expires the same time the final normal pre-registration rate expires.
Do you honor the group rate at the door?
No. The point of a group rate is to encourage pre-registration. Pre-registration saves both money and time spent waiting to get in to the con. Plus pre-registrants get nicer badges.
If members of your group don't pre-register, we're sorry, but they will have to pay the regular rate at the door.
Bonus Badges for Groups with Hall Tables
Groups with Hall Tables that achieve 10 registrants for the current year will be offered a free pass for either the current year's con or the next year's con, to be distributed as the group sees fit.
Group Rate Limit and Expiration
For groups that fail to make 10 registrants at their group rate for 3 years running, ConCarolinas reserves the right to deny and/or drop any further group rate offerings.
