Hey everyone -

Just a quick note that The Charlotte Geeks will be holding the 2010 Geek Gala on
Saturday, October 30th at the Charlotte Marriott Executive Park (where
ConCarolinas used to be before it moved.)

The event starts at 7PM and the theme is InterGalactic Carnival. We'll have
carnival, video & board games, photos, geek trivia, a media room, bellydancers,
Geeky Gift Basket charity raffle (one of them will have free passes for the 2011
ConCarolinas) and the return of the Geeks Got Talent! show.

We are currently re-vamping the website with all the info, but wanted to give
you a heads up so you can save the date.

Also, if you want a free ticket - come up with an act for our Geeks Got Talent!
Show. First prize is $100 cash. We are looking for musical acts, weapon demos,
dancing, comedy, skits, juggling, robotics, you name it.
