Dear Ron and Stephanie:

Thank you and your entire convention staff for making ConCarolinas a successful and memorable event for me. I had a fantastic time, enjoyed the games I ran, and engaged in some interesting discussions on various panels. All this success comes from your hard work and your staff's dedication.

I was very impressed with the convention staff. Everyone I met was helpful, of course, but also extremely friendly. The convention-goers overall were a delight, and the hotel staff was exceedingly polite. Everything went smoothly.

The folks running the con suite deserve particular thanks. Every time I stopped by they welcomed me, let me know what food and drink they had on hand, and generally made me feel right at home. The food offered -- besides the usual con fare of soda and munchies -- was exceptional, particularly the hot dishes they prepared. Please pass along my thanks to them for running a first-rate con suite.

The convention gave me an opportunity to meet and interact with some great folks in the gaming industry, particularly Neil Spicer, Charles White, and Don Bessinger. I hope to see them again at other NC cons, but particularly at ConCarolinas.

Thank you for inviting me as the Gaming Guest of Honor. I hope you'll invite me back next year as a gaming guest.

Best regards,

Peter Schweighofer

Ron and Stephanie:

I just wanted to email both of you and commend you on a job well done at ConCarolinas this year. I didn't get to attend the Con Wrap-Up on Sunday or I would have provided feedback then. I figured I send you an email response instead...

First, I loved the way you guys handled Guest Services...and though, this is the first time I've ever been a guest to a convention (local or otherwise)...everything from the care packages to the express check-in were as professional and smooth as anything I could have imagined. I had a chance to chat with Pete Schweighofer throughout Friday and Saturday, and he pretty much said the same thing. He was absolutely amazed at the special treatment and mentioned it was probably the best he'd ever seen.

As for the rest of the convention, I've got to give you guys props on everything else, too. The guests were cool. The discussion panels were fun. The gaming was a blast. And though a few panels and games struggled with attracting attendees, I still think they were quality productions...and yes, that even means Ron's Gaming 101 seminar for Non-Gamers. :)

Anyway, once again...GREAT job! Stephanie especially deserves a pat on the back considering all of the organizing and guest service stuff she put together. Well done all around. Invite me next year and I'll definitely show. I'll even volunteer ahead of time for a few more seminars/panels if you need me...

Thanks again,
--Neil
